For sale here is a one of the first of my new 7’ 4wt 3 piece Parabolic series fiberglass fly rods. This one has a piece of beautiful and deeply grained local North Carolina hickory that I rescued from my friend Eric’s woodpile for the seat. (I’ll be using this wood on some Blue Ridge Specials this year, be on the lookout for those.)  Darkened Snake Brand and Mildrum guides, no trim wrap accents (can’t see any thread wraps), darkened hand rubbed brass cap and ring seat.

The is the kind of sweet, smooth and sensitive parabolic fiberglass fly rod that you won’t want to rush. This rod is the smoooooooth action kind of slow. It’s deliberate and delicate, firm and sensitive. Very much like it’s 8’ sibling but for smaller waters.
