75p #1-15 7'5" 4/5wt 4 piece Cuban mahogany

75p #1-15 7'5" 4/5wt 4 piece Cuban mahogany
I have for sale here a new 75p that I finished earlier this year. This is one of my 7’5” 4-5wt 4 piece fiberglass fly rod. Built with a beautiful piece of CUban mahogany, natural brass cap and ring (I can darken it if the buyer wants me to), bright guides with copperish wraps and color preserved thread accents at the grip, ferrules, and tiptop. I made this one with a very comfortable Ritz grip.
My 75p design is a semi-parabolic fly rod that bends in the middle first whether you use a 4 or 5wt line. When you fish this rod with a 4wt line, like a 406 Fly Lines DT4 or a Cortland Peach DT4, it bends from the middle and then moves forward toward the tip depending on how much line is out. When you fish this rod with a 5wt line, you start to feel more power from the butt above the grip and then works up the rod toward the tip. Translation: you can fish this rod with anything from dries to streamers, and from tiny blue line creeks to larger western streams with a slight adjustment of line and technique. I’ve fished a 75p in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the San Juans of Colorado and the spring creeks of Montana as well as the Chalk streams of England. It’s my go-to rod for North Carolina bass and bluegill ponds as well as smallmouth bass. It’ll do everything but saltwater. However, I have a friend who’d try. With a fish on, you feel and fight the fish from the tip, middle, or butt, depending on the situation.
