This is a new/unused rod I built back in 2018.
It is a 4 piece 8‘6“ 5wt Hybrid material graphite rod that Mike McFarland made for me on a custom basis. It’s a medium fast/strong action. It carries a very long line and it’s accurate at long distance. It also fishes under 30 feet well with an aggressive line. I made this one with bright brass cap and ring real seat hardware over locally sourced cherry and bright Snake Brand Universal guides with red wraps.
