I’ve been working on designing a 6’6” 3wt Parabolic rod for a little while and this is one of the final prototypes. I’m getting near the end of the design process and I’m very happy with how this one turned out. This is a dainty little rod for short and accurate  casts on small water.
 
I made this one with a unique piece of Cuban mahogany with a pocketed double ring seat. 

I have fished this one several times and spent a lot of time casting it so it shows a little darkening of the cork.
