Here’s the first production 7’4” 4wt 3 piece Semi Para I am offering for sale. As with the others in this new Semi Para series, there’s a subtle hinge point about 18” down from the tip and another one near the second ferrule that creates a very smooth and accurate casting rod that and it handles aggressive point and shoot overhead casts superbly as well as gentle roll casts. I tested this rod out recently on several Montana small streams and I loved it. This rod fishes very well from about 5’ to 45’.

I built this with a comfortable subtle Wells style grip with a piece of mahogany from a luthier friend’s shop. Featuring my usual brass cap and ring seat, medium brown wraps over bright Snake Brand guides and an old stock Agate stripping guide.
