I’m trying out a new color I’m calling Sunrise Yellow for a few of my rods and this one is the first of my Driftless Special’s for sale. Serial number 7-24 is built with a Cuban mahogany reel seat and Perfection style guides and a Mildrum stripping guide.

I miss having a yellow rod in my offerings so I decided to try this new e-glass material. I was hesitant at first but I love it. It’s kinda like Fred Paddock’s amazing Lemon Drop series but not quite as bright. It’s semi-translucent and glows in the sun. As for how it fishes, I couldn’t be happier. Look out for this color for my Blue Ridge Special as well.
