I have for sale here a very fun and unique fly rod. This is a blank by my friend Kazuyoshi Matsumoto. Kazu designed this blank with the small and beautiful Japanese oikawa fish in mind. He calls it a 4 dimensional hybrid fiberglass with a carbon fiber scrim that is visible on the surface. This means that it is a very light and stable casting rod.

This blank has a light and sensitive feel to it and casts a DT2 and DT3 very well, depending on casting distance and kind of water you’re fishing.

I finished this rod with a light transparent green silk wraps, bright Snake Brand guides and an old stock Mildrum stripping guide. My brass dual reel seat rings with Flor grade cork seat and ventilated grip. Brass capped aluminum tube included as well as US shipping.
