Here is an 8’ 4wt LT 3 piece Parabolic fly rod I recently finished. This is one of the slower and more delicate tapers I’ve made. It’s a delightful rod for spring creek fishing and it is smoooooooth. This rod in particular is one of two rods of this taper that I made with a slightly lighter butt section making it fully flexing. Incredibly nice for roll casting dries on spring creeks.

This rod is #32-23, the 32nd rod I’ve made this year. I made this one with a ventilated Wells style grip shape, a piece of figured cherry from a friend’s land up in Virginia for the seat insert, darkened hand made snake guides, and a Mildrum stripping guide.
