Here is a 7’7” 7wt fiberglass fly rod I just finished. I had summer bass fishing with a nice deer hair frog pattern when I made this rod. Green accent tipping and clear wraps with an old school downlocking black aluminum and cork seat with a decent-sized fighting butt. Measurement wraps at 16”, 20” and 24” from the butt.

It is ‘salt ready’ but not necessarily ‘salt safe’ - basically wash it off thoroughly after fishing in salt water. The dark finish on the guides might come off prematurely but it won’t affect the performance.

$825 with my brass capped aluminum tubes. Save $70 if you don’t want a tube (the rod would be shipped in sturdy PVC instead of the aluminum/brass tube).
